Frequently asked questions
01 What does it cost to sell my car?
Nothing up front and nothing if it doesn’t sell. When it sells, our fee is 3.9% + VAT of the achieved price — photography, film, listing, buyer vetting and accompanied viewings included.
02 Who insures my car in transit?
We do. Every movement is covered by comprehensive motor-trade insurance and goods-in-transit cover to £250,000. Every driver is employed, vetted and DBS-checked.
03 How long does a sale take?
Our average is 11 days from listing to deposit. Nine in ten cars sell within 30 days. If the market disagrees with the price, we’ll tell you — with data, not hope.
04 What if my car has outstanding finance?
Common, and fine. We settle the finance directly with your lender at the point of sale and the balance lands in your account the same day. You sign nothing you haven’t seen in advance.
05 What if it doesn’t sell?
We relist with adjusted positioning, or return the car — your choice. Either way you owe us nothing. No sale, no fee isn’t a slogan; it’s the contract.
06 What if my car fails its MOT?
We call you with the tester’s notes and a fixed quote before anything is touched. Approve it and we repair and retest the same day where parts allow; decline and we return the car exactly as found. Retests are free either way.
07 Where do you operate?
London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Edinburgh as standard, and most of the UK by arrangement. Collection and return are included within coverage areas.
08 What do I need to hire a supercar?
Be 28 or over with a full UK licence held for three years, two proofs of address, and a £2,000 refundable deposit. We deliver the car to your door and collect it when you’re done.
